Supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode for Unidirectional 20 Gbps Video Connections

By connecting a 4K display to a host device that supports DisplayPort Alt Mode 1.4, this cable can use both high-speed lanes to transmit 4K video at 60 Hz in one direction at 20 Gbps maximum speed with 24-bit True Color, HDR and 4:4:4 chroma subsampling.

Backward Compatible with Legacy USB and Thunderbolt 3 Devices

Though both connected devices must support USB4 20Gbps for the cable to reach its full potential, the U521-1P0M-WH20G is backward compatible with USB 3.x, USB 2.0 and Thunderbolt 3 devices. It connects two USB-C devices, including MacBooks, Chromebooks, Windows laptops, Kindles, game consoles, smartphones, external storage devices, docking stations and wall chargers.
